In & At


The diffrence bettween in and at

Prepositions are not always consistent. They may change depending on the context; but there are a guidelines.


AT:  at always applies to a specific point at time or place.

·         At 2 o'clock
·         At the end of the year
·         At the corner
·         At the air port

IN:  in usually means within inside a surrounding time or place.

·         In the spring
·         In the 2013
·         In the classroom
·         In Canada
e.g. When you are in a field, it is all around you.
